Disability Care Manager
Amy is a compassionate and down-to-earth Registered Nurse who completed her Bachelor of Nursing in 2018 before beginning her career in neurosurgery and major trauma at one of Australia’s largest tertiary hospitals. Working in a fast-paced acute environment provided her with a strong clinical foundation, critical thinking skills, and ability to remain calm and adaptable in complex situations. Since then, Amy has expanded her experience across hospital, community, wellness, aged care and disability settings, developing a genuine passion for person-centred care and supporting people to maintain their independence and quality of life. She is experienced in health assessment, care planning, medication administration, wound care, chronic disease management and supporting participants with a wide range of clinical and everyday support needs. Amy is known for her warm nature and ability to build trusting relationships with participants, families, and colleagues alike. She values teamwork, reliability, and creating a positive and supportive environment for both participants and staff. Her approach to care is intentional and personalised, with a strong focus on dignity, respect, inclusion, and making people feel comfortable and genuinely understood. Passionate about ongoing learning and continuous improvement, Amy enjoys contributing to collaborative care environments where participants feel empowered, supported, and heard. She takes pride in delivering thoughtful, high-quality care while remaining flexible and willing to step in wherever needed to support both her team and the people in her care.
